To allow pop-ups in Firefox

1. On the top right of the browser click the Menu button then click the Options icon.
   
2. Click Content and leave the Block pop-up windows box checked, then click the Exceptions button to the right of that option.
   
3. In the Address of web site field, type the name of the site hosting your Learning Management System
   (i.e. the URL of the website you logged into before attempting to access this content).
   
   Often these names will follow the convention ‘lmsname’.’schoolname’.edu (E.g. *.carnegiemellon.edu). Then click Allow.
   
   Click Allow and the URL will appear in the list of allowed sites.
   
4. Click Save changes

To allow pop-ups in Chrome

1. Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar, then select Settings.
   
2. Scroll Down and Click Show advanced settings.
   
3. In the "Privacy" section, click the Content settings button.
   
4. Scroll down to the "Pop-ups" section, click Manage exceptions....
   
5. In the "Hostname pattern", type the pattern of your Learning Management System.[*.]cengage.com, then press Done to save your changes.
   (i.e. the URL of the website you logged into before attempting to access this content).
   
   Often these names will follow the convention ‘lmsname’.’schoolname’.edu (E.g. [*.]carnegiemellon.edu).
   
   The URL pattern will appear in the list of exceptions.

1. Go to Tools(if you do not see Tools, press the Alt key to show the menu bar)> Popup Blocker and Select Pop-up Blocker Settings.
